The design ranked 3rd in an architectural competition. Within one kilometre radius from plac Małachowskiego, in the very centre of Warsaw, there are approximately 80 culture and education establishments. Due to this unique location, we decided to create a place that will become a real city square, becoming a “living” space, open for open air performance by artists and culture animators – City’s Art Square hosted by the establishments surrounding the square. The project intends to create a space that both combines and exhibits the four most important and most valuable monuments while being a place intended for artistic performance and installation as well as open events. |
