Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw is a unique street, both city- and Poland-wise. It is a route that aggregates the most precious monuments of the capital as well as many national and city functions. A unique and varying shape of the street, transforming into municipal plazas and squares creates an attractive space which is frequented by the locals and by the tourists. The street is also a place for strong activity of the youth since two higher education organizations are located there. |
When designing some of the street furniture for Krakowskie Przedmieście (newsstands, bus stop shelters, advertising columns, benches, trash bins, bicycle racks, street pots), we strived to design modern street furniture, using the state-of-the-art technology while perfectly fitting the historic character of the street.
